The fourteen essays in this volume, written through the lockdown months of 2020 and 2021 are the author’s reactions and responses to the times. These very personal essays speak of the times, of the challenges, of the holding on, of those moments of despair and insecurity, of a world that was becoming stranger every passing minute. The moments of anxiety, of isolation, of trying hard to care for a loved one, of the struggles — seen and unseen, of trying to make sense of all, and failing mostly, find expression in the essays.
