Srijan De Sarker
Srijan De Sarker, born 4th September 1997 is a Research Fellow at The Asiatic Society. Currently a researcher at Jadavpur University, Department of Bengal, Srijan began writing at the age of 8. Starting with Anandabazar newspaper, Srijan has written for many publications including Sandesh, Sahitya-Parishat-Patrika, Eyi Samay, The Telegraph, TTIS, Mithila Darshan Matrishakti, Chander Hasi, and Swapnabhoomi. He has contributed to about 30 anthologies of essays. Srijan received 'Debendranath Chatterjee Smriti Samman' in 2010. His hobby is to collect national and international souvenirs, key rings, coins and signatures of famous people. He has made Saga of Life, Bagher Din and Dorakata documentaries based on this hobby.
