Rajendra Khandelwal describes himself as an ordinary human being with extraordinary feelings for the suffering humanity. He is a true social worker and a successful entrepreneur, heading a chain of pharmacies named "Dhanwantary, which he established in Kolkata in 1984. He did his graduation from Calcutta University. Mr Khandelwal is a spirited motivator and an ardent spiritualist attached to many social organisations and NGOS including Rotary International Iswar Sankalpa, Bengal Organ Donation Society and Indian Federation of United Nations Associations. Born and raised in a lower middle-class family, he faced many hurdles in life. A passionate social reformer, Mr Khandelwal has now launched and supports the Girl Child Education Programme Sukanya', which is very close to his heart. Rajendra Khandelwal's search for the true meaning of life started with his first book 'life is a Celebration. He says feel happy and blessed to be born in Bongobhumi Kolkata."
